GORE-TEX Professional Footwear Technology Wins P.C.I.A.W’s Best PPE Innovation in Footwear Award 2022
This year’s top award for the P.C.I.A.W’s Best PPE Innovation in Footwear 2022 went to GORE-TEX Professional for their EXTRAGUARD upper technology. Selected by the independent PCIAW® judging panel for its outstanding protective properties and low carbon footprint. EXTRAGUARD is a 3-layer footwear upper technology which offers a hard-wearing alternative to standard protective footwear uppers. In combination with a GORE-TEX lining, the safety footwear is also waterproof, breathable, 40% lighter than leather and comfortable to wear.
