We conducted a survey among consumers using safety footwear and their feedback was that the GORE-TEX Brand stands for increased breathability in addition to waterproofness. While durable waterproofness is a must for wearers, breathability is top of mind: it is relevant and a constant need as sweating is an issue for physically active workers.
Building on its existing research in garment design trends, GORE-TEX Professional is now inspiring its manufacturers of protective clothing with new safety footwear designs. Collaborating with Johan Johannson of Tailormade Production, the GORE-TEX Professional Team has created design options for safety footwear applying innovative GORE-TEX product technology. - GORE-TEX brand is a sign of high-quality shoes: for many end-users, a shoe with GORE-TEX product technology is perceived as “the better safety shoe”, and even increases trust that the shoe will actually fulfill all safety demands.
